First of all... two inches down around my "muffin top" the hardest place for me to lose... I have been doing the Body by Vi shakes for 11 days now. I'm not seeing a HUGE difference on the scale but I have been working out too so I think I am just gaining muscle. I am still 3.2 lbs down since I started and 9 lbs down since I started working out I think about 6 weeks ago.
I am 8 lbs away from being to my pre-pregnancy weight which is awesome because when Adam left I was 17 lbs away. I kinda just stayed at that weight from the time I was 2 weeks postpartum until I started at the gym. I was frustrated as all get out, but now I am more motivated because I have started seeing a difference!
I would like to get below my pre-pregnancy weight because I was about 10 lbs lighter than that when Adam came home from his first deployment.
On another note, we are almost 3 months into this deployment and no word of when they will be returning. Its getting a little frustrating especially since if this was a normal deployment we would almost be half way thru this, but looks like it will be closer to 10-11 months. We are both just ready to have our family together. Today Alli got to "talk" to her Daddy and it was bittersweet.... I love that he got to hear her over the phone but I really wish he were home to enjoy these moments with me. She's getting so big!
Alright, duty calls... gotta go change another diaper :)

90 Day Challenge
So I got my shipment in the mail yesterday of my Body by Vi shake mix, and I started it last night and had a full day of it today. I took my measurements and before pictures, if you are lucky (or maybe not so lucky) I may post them when I start getting results.
So far I have tried a cafe mocha shake, a strawberry banana shake, and tonight I had mixed berries and banana. I like that I can be creative and make different flavors so I am not constantly stuck with the same kind over and over. And when I am craving chocolate or something sweet I can just mix up something chocolatey. The possibilities are endless! :)

Let's get this party started!
I have been thinking of doing a blog for some time now, but finally got a chance to sit down and do one. We are a little over 2 months into this deployment and it seems like its been forever since we got to see Adam. We have a chance to go over and visit him in port, but it will probably not work out due to time restrictions and finances. So if anyone would like to start a fund so that Alli and I can go see her daddy, feel free ;)
On another note, Alli is going to be 3 months old on Sunday, and it has flown by! I know its strange that it has flown by when it comes to her growing up, but not so much when it comes to the deployment. Its amazing watching her grow and seeing how much she changes from day to day. She learns things overnight which is amazing! She doesn't like tummy time, but she's definitely getting better with it. She can roll over from her tummy to her back, and is getting close to rolling from her back to her tummy. I have a feeling it will be any day the way she has been arching her back on the ground and going onto her side! Becoming a mommy is the most rewarding thing I have ever done. She is so much fun, and I am so glad to have a piece of Adam that I can look at every day while he is gone.
I am about to start on a new diet which i am pretty excited about, so results on that to come! I don't know that I will be brave enough to post a before picture right now, but maybe later after I have had some results! :)
Hopefully I will be able to keep up with this blog, my days are usually consumed by Alli and the only time I have any time to get on here is when she is sleeping (which she is now).
